PCT: Hwy 58 to Walker Pass done, back in Inyokern, now what?

So that bus did take me to Mojave where I connected an hr later with bus to Bakersfield getting dropped off at the trail on hwy 58. hiked about four hrs that afternoon and then five more days getting back to my car at Walker Pass CG Around 3pm today. Drove another hiker to that great Burrito place in Lk Isabella west of the pass that Sandy's friend Peter H and I stopped at returning from our Death Vly trip earlier this yr. Then picked up my bicycle in Inyokern, where I am now.
Not sure where to now. Maybe check out Kennedy Mdws to see whether I could leave my car there, bicycle down to hwy 395 to catch the bus to big pine to meet up with CNPS friends at a conference there, then this Sunday on their way home, get dropped off at Walker Pass to continue my hike.  That's a bit oversimplified with more prep needed and much more driving.
Alternative plan is to drive to SRosa & check mail & use my big laptop to backup tracklogs & picts.  Maybe I'll try to do both!  Need my big laptop cuz the older one I brought couldn't find the log files on my track logger, severely limiting my logging capacity.
That and some other technological failures added to the cold and strong 60mph winds I was battling throughout this hike. There were a few moments when I was trying to shout curses over the wind at all those engineers, marketing managers and lawyers responsible for the compromised functionality of all those gadgets I was carrying along that were not working.
Reminds me of one of the goodies left at one of the hiker caches: lead weights, with a note saying to take only as many as needed.
