PCT: in San Diego after change in plans at Hikertown

So I've had a change in plans..

I am currently in a suburb just outside of San Diego at the home of a couple of hikers I met while scouting out the "Hikertown" PCT-hostel along Hwy 137 at the northern end of my planned hike, where I hope to leave my car toward the end of my hike.  They were just hiking along the road, and I stopped to ask then where Hikertown was, and it turned out they were just finishing their hike and wanting a ride home which was quite near where I wanted to start, and they said I'd be able to leave my car at their place, which is closer to more frequent public transit than the Julian MiniStorage would have been, and they are even offering to pick me up from anywhere!  How could I refuse!

So I quickly strapped my bicycle to the roofrack and rearranged my loaded car to make room for two passengers and two large backpacks.  Stopped at Hikertown just long enough for me to confirm I could leave my car there later, and for them to say farewell to some of their fellow hikers.  Then we blew through the LA basin in midday traffic making good time under their expert direction.

They will drive me to Campo tomorrow.

So I will be two days ahead of schedule.

Yes, Rebecca, I still need to send you a food list

Probably the first mailing will be to Mt Laguna, either the hotel or the Post Office.

I will also now need a mailing to Julian, since I won't have my car there.

I'll follow up with the list etc...
