Still need to finish moving out (clothes to pack, garbage
to clear out.) Then I'll be rearranging stuff in storage unit sorting
out things I'll bring on my travels.
I'm able to stay in my room til I leave the 5th of Feb - but just
leaving for about 1 week and will be back again for a short time.
That week I will be carpooling to Death Valley with one of Sandy's other
friends, Peter - we will meet Sandy and Bud in Bud's RV trailer at Red Rock State Park.
Us three will hike around Death Valley while Bud hangs around the trailer with his dogs.
That's Sandy's plan... We'll see... Anyhow - Peter can only go for a week, I'll
come back with him, pick up my car, finish up loose ends in SRosa,
resume trip on my own to scout out resupply points & trailheads on the
PCT in SoCal, Hopefully do some hiking, possibly early March I'll meet
up with Sandy & Bud (who plan to hang out at the Ca/Az border for who
knows how long - she's talking about getting dental work done in Mexico...
Will probably return to SRosa early April, decide
whether I want to do major portions of the trail, in which case I
might go to the "kickoff" at end of April and then hike...
