RoadTrip: PCT: carpooling to Death Valley

Hi Peter,

Firstly verifying that it's OK for me to overnight this Sunday night
to "carpool" in your car to Death Valley & return the following Monday
evening Feb 13th?

I've just arranged with my Subaru Mechanic to replace head gaskets etc
on my car during the week we're in Death Valley.  I'll be swapping my
car for a loaner vehicle that I said I'll be driving to Moss Beach and
parking there for the week, and will return Tuesday morning Feb 15.
The mechanic asked if I would be parking it in a secure place and I
said yes.

So I'm thinking I'll have my backpack, outfitted as if I were doing
PCT (hope to shake out my "equipment plan".)  This will include a pair
of used skipoles I just bought for cheap, and an umbrella - I may try
to "multipurpose" the skipoles & umbrella as tripod and tent poles.

I'll probably also want to bring another daypack with my big laptop
and extra camera gear, and maybe a ~1.5CuFt cooler.  I also have two
6gallon "BPA-free" water containers I could bring.  I also have a 250W
inverter that plugs into cigarette plug that I MIGHT bring to recharge
camera batteries... Oh, and a folding chair...  Oh, and a big kitchen
sink - how much of all this do you think will fit? I could throw out
some of your stuff if needed...

Glad you can make it on Sunday. No problem with your gear, I will not have too much as I assume we will be cooking in the RV. I will bring a tent and bedding though in case I sleep better away from the dogs, and it may be too hot in the vehicle for me. I will bring some firewood, though not enough for a week.
