RoadTrip: PCT: trail road crossings etc. on my way down to Anza Borrego

...
P.S.
I'm currently in he Julian, CA Library just NE of Anza Borrego - nice town - also just changed my address temporarily to General Delivery in this town.   Expect to do some hikes along the PCT that passes through Anza Borrego Park for the next few days.  Hope to run into Pat and her CNPS contingent (or is it Cindy's contingent?) down here somewhere later this week maybe?????
I'm staying at Blair Valley CG tentatively on S2 just south of the "Scissors Crossing" intersection with hwy 78 (might have that # wrong...)   Weather in this area threatens cooler  windier conditions with low snow levels this weekend.

It's been 99% sunny so far during my trip.  On the way down I stopped briefly at the Pinnacles, stayed at Carrizzo Plan 1st night, followed the fault-line "ridge-roads" through San Pablo NF and then zig-zagged across the Transverse Ranges, stopping at most of the PCT road-crossings, and taking several half-day hikes to sample pieces of the trail.  Today I made it over Laguna Mt to Lk Morena and then Campo, but did little hiking.

Boy does it seem dry! The stretch of road along the San Andreas fault around the Pinnacles that I've taken several times now, I've never seen so dry!  Still some snow along roadways at the higher elevations, and morning frost when I've overnighted at elevation.  Even in Blair Valley this morning there was a touch of frost on the windshield.

My tentative plans are still to do low-elevation portions of PCT in So Cal this March, then come back to SRosa briefly early April (have an appointment on the 12th in SR) then make it "somehow" to the PCT "kickoff" event on April 30th then "somehow" transport myself or "get-a-ride" to the the south end of the San Jacinto Range and continue the rest of the ranges to just short of the Tehachapi's, then call it 500 miles is enough for one year...  But, we'll see how that turns out...
